Furthermore, the metal-rubber bars can also be custom built as striker plates, i.e. with the metal plate only on one side. DIN 1017 applies to the metal parts. If the bars will be subject to shear forces, it is imperative to ensure that tensile stress is avoided when fitting the bars.
