STALASTIC: Bars made of rubber and metal with extended base plate

Possible applications:
STALASTIC bars are particularly suitable for elastic mounting arrangements for heavy machines, e.g. ship engines, large stationary engines, lathes, lift motors, shaking and vibrating machines. The bars are used wherever the spacial constraints and the high loads do not permit the fitting of buffers.
Technical specifications:
STALASTIC bars cater for a load spectrum ranging from 300N to 775kN, depending on the bar section and length used. For further details please refer to the tables.
Description:
STALASTIC bars are manufactured in lengths of 2000mm and can be cut to any length. However, it must be ensured that the smallest length is not less than the sectional width. The thickness of the metal plates is designed to allow threaded holes to be bored and tapped in them for fastening purposes.
The bars with extended base plates are only available in the fixed lengths shown in the table. Under static load the rubber thickness "h" can be compressed by approx. 10 to 15%; whereby, the higher degree of compression is permissible for tall, narrow bars. The bars are predominantly installed either to absorb compressive stress, or if installed at an angle, to absorb compressive shearing stress.
